He was also part of the pioneer secretariat team that drove the national movement for entrepreneurship through ACE.SG, where he managed notable projects such as the corporatisation of ACE.SG and the development of LaunchPad@one-north.

After completing his PhD in Agriculture at Meiji University in 2006, Dr. Fukuda worked as a RIKEN Research Fellow before becoming an Project Associate Professor at Institute of Advanced Biosciences, Keio University in 2012, and a Project Professor there in 2019. He is also a group leader at the Kanagawa Prefectural Institute of Industrial Technology, a specially appointed professor at Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine, a representative director of the Society for Gut Design, a representative director of the Short Chain Fatty Acids Promotion Association, and a representative director of the Gut Healthcare Association. In 2015, he won the grand prize at the Bioscience Grand Prix for his business plan “A healthy society created from stool” and established Metagen, Inc. He assumed the position of President and CEO. In 2024, he was selected for Forbes Japan Entrepreneur Book 400 and Highly Cited Researcher 2024 by Clarivate Analytics.

Naoko holds a degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Law at Keio University, as well as an MBA. She began her career in sales at MSD K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Merck & Co., before joining Calbee, Inc., where she spent eight years in product planning and business development. Since 2023, Naoko has been involved in developing functional foods, including Calbee’s personalised nutrition programme, Body Granola.

Sze-Yunn has a unique combination of commercial capabilities from healthcare and enterprise software industries, and a successful track-record of stakeholder engagement across the complex ecosystem. She started her career with the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and served in Beijing and New York. This was followed by a decade in the enterprise software, with CRM industry pioneer Siebel Systems in California, and Microsoft at its Redmond headquarters and China, in products like Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Business Intelligence. She then led NTUC Health Home Care, one of the largest providers of home care services in Singapore, during a period of rapid growth. Sze Yunn was the former Head of Philips’ Population Health Management business in Philips ASEAN Pacific, where she pioneered many healthcare “firsts” in Asia in the area of population health, remote monitoring and chronic disease management. As a digital health pioneer, she also sat on World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Longevity.
